Courses Without Qualifications

Many potential students fail to get onto their chosen course as they have few, or no academic qualifications. Universities are trying harder than ever to provide ways for people with a limited, academic background to get the qualifications they desire.

As a result, many universities will accept you onto their courses, based on your work experience, or work-based qualifications. So a lack of qualifications is no longer a barrier to achieving your ambition of gaining a university education. If you still have concerns about your eligibility, please get in touch.

Greater Access to Higher Education

Many universities will accept you on their courses, based on your life experience, work experience, or work-based qualifications. This means that a lack of academic qualifications is no longer a barrier to studying at university. If you are a mature student (over 21), you can get accepted for many courses, even if your qualifications are below the level of a high school diploma.

Preparation to Study a Degree

Studying at university when you don’t have much academic experience, or haven’t studied for a long time, can present some challenges. To help with these, and other concerns you may have, many courses include a foundation course. The purpose of the foundation course is to act as a bridge between your current qualifications and the UK university’s entry requirements.
