Course overview

Develop your understanding of the concept and theories relating to the provision of sport in the Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to research, plan, design and implement a range of sports events in diverse settings – understanding legal requirements that must be considered when planning and executing a sports event.

Look at opportunities to generate revenue, funding or sponsorship and how to successfully manage an event budget. Develop an awareness of global issues in the sporting environment, that influence the decision making process and inform strategic choices such as internal and external factors, sustainability and ethics and international culture.
